November-December '05

The Digital Architecture team was happy to participate and host a booth at the AACRAO Strategic Enrollment Management Conference in Chicago, November 13-15. Strategic Enrollment Managers were excited to see the new features and functionality of the latest release of acalog ACMS™. They were very interested in how the system could be used to build relationships with potential students and market their institution.

The NEACRAO Annual Meeting and Reverse College Day, was held Nov 9-11, in Newport, Rhode Island. The Digital Architecture team was thrilled to have several acalog ACMS™ clients host a round table session on the benefits of using the acalog™ academic catalog management system™ . The registrars were very interested to learn how the acalog ACMS™ can save them time, money, and improve the efficiency of editing, updating, and producing their academic catalogs.

 

September-October '05

Digital Architecture is pleased to add Western Carolina University (WCU) in Cullowhee, North Carolina to its growing list of client schools. On September 8, 2005, WCU announced its selection of the acalog ACMS™ for academic catalog management and publishing. Western Carolina University was seeking a solution to more effectively manage the 400+ page academic catalog.

 

New Denver Office

Digital Architecture announces the opening of the company's third regional office located in Denver, Colorado. The new office is a response to the expanding interest in our products in the Western Region of the United States. The new office will focus on higher education institutions in the West and add to our support for current clients nationwide. Digital Architecture also maintains offices in Florida (Southeast Region) and Maine (Northeast Region).

 

July-August '05

Following a lengthy and rigorous RFP process, the University of Virginia announced on Friday, August 19, that Digital Architecture's acalog ACMS™ has been awarded the contract for the University's first academic catalog management system™ .

Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts becomes the latest higher-education institution to adopt the acalog ACMS™ for academic catalog management and publishing.

 

Springfield College Graduate School partners with Digital Architecture to produce their 2005-2006 academic catalog on CD-ROM. The acalog ACMS™ makes it easy to convert a web-based acalog™ Gateway into a CD-ROM-based Gateway. The CD-ROM Gateway will help the graduate school provide a highly useful offline version of the school's academic catalog, while helping the school conserve resources for academics by printing and mailing fewer print catalogs.

Greenfield Community College has selected Digital Architecture to produce college's academic catalog on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM will provide a consistent experience for prospective and existing students between the web-based acalog ACMS™ Gateway and the CD-ROM Gateway, which can be run offline and shipped at minimal cost compared to print versions.

Rivier College has selected Digital Architecture to perform layout and pre-press services for the college's academic catalog. Using the export from the acalog ACMS™ will save time and resources, and ensure the content is accurate, eliminating the necessity of multiple copy edit revisions that were required before using the acalog ACMS™.

Slippery Rock University has selected Digital Architecture to provide professional services for CD-ROM creation for the university's undergraduate and graduate catalogs for the second year in a row. SRU received favorable response last year to the CD-ROM catalog Gateways.

May-June '05

Longstanding customer Springfield College will outsource print layout services this year to Digital Architecture. The project involves managing layout and pre-press for four of the college’s catalogs.

After a detailed RFP process, Northern Illinois University (NIU) has awarded the bid for the institution's academic catalog management system™ to Digital Architecture. Located in DeKalb, NIU personnel will deploy the acalog ACMS™ to manage its undergraduate and graduate catalogs.

Lyndon State College selects the acalog ACMS™ to streamline the management of the Vermont-based college's academic catalog. LSC chose acalog™ after reviewing other vendors. Debra Hale, Registrar, says she chose acalog™ because “I liked the consistency of all the catalogs stored in acalog™, and was impressed with Digital Architecture’s great reputation.” The professional services team at Digital Architecture expects to have the LSC catalog fully transitioned and available online in less than five weeks.

It's just been announced that Digital Architecture has been awarded the bid for Northeast State Technical Community College’s RFP seeking an Academic Catalog Management System™ . NSTCC, a Tennessee Board of Regents Institution, received 15 proposals in response to its RFP solicitation. NSTCC was looking for an ACMS™ to enable the college to produce online, hard copy, and CD versions of its undergraduate catalogs. An additional requirement was capability to support specialized catalogs for targeted groups such as new freshmen, transfer students, and non-traditional students. NSTCC will be rapidly implemented in less than six weeks.

Southeastern University, our neighbor in Lakeland, Florida, has adopted the acalog ACMS™ as part of its transition from college to university status this year. In addition to using the acalog ACMS™ to publish its catalogs online and in print, Southeastern will be taking advantage of Digital Architecture's CD-ROM publishing services.

 

March-April '05

The 91st AACRAO Annual Meeting in New York, New York, March 28-31, was a great success for the Digital Architecture team. We got a chance to spend quality time with many existing customers, and an opportunity to meet many new friends. After four years at AACRAO, one thing we can say that's changed for certain is that everyone now knows about Academic Catalog Management!

Davidson College in North Carolina joins a growing number of colleges and universities in the Southeast taking notice of the acalog™ academic catalog management system™ . Digital Architecture curriculum specialists are busy helping transition Davidson's academic catalogs into the acalog™ system for a launch in May.

Southeastern College, our neighbor in Lakeland, Florida, will be adopting the acalog ACMS™ as part of its transition from college to university status this year. In addition to using the acalog ACMS™ to publish its catalogs online and in print, Southeastern will be taking advantage of Digital Architecture's CD-ROM publishing services.

 

January-February '05

Join us March 28-31 for the 91st AACRAO annual meeting in New York, New York. This is the biggest gathering of registrars and admissions officials of the year, and we're looking forward to this key event. This will mark our fourth year at AACRAO, and we will be catching up with our friends from all over the United States as well as those from abroad. Hope to see you there!

Oberlin College's selection in February of the acalog ACMS™ followed more than a year of careful analysis to ensure the ACMS™ would meet the requirements of the Ohio liberal arts institution and the needs of its College of Arts and Sciences, and Conservatory of Music. Finding an ACMS™ that could support the broad range of programs at Oberlin was an important factor for choosing acalog™.

The annual SACRAO conference, Feb. 5-9 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was a smashing success for our team. It was our first year at SACRAO, and we were thrilled to meet many new friends and colleagues from the Southeast region. We look forward to next year's event in Lexington, Kentucky!

Extending online accessibility is a key factor for Greenfield Community College, which this month selected acalog™ as preferred platform for management of the school's academic catalogs. Advanced features of the acalog ACMS™ Gateway will play a key role in helping the school meet the requirements of a recent Title III grant intended to promote access.

Hofstra University School of Law selects the acalog ACMS™ to manage its law bulletins. Hoftstra University's graduate and undergraduate bulletins will be launched in the acalog ACMS™ and go live within the next 30 days. They are live!
