Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado has joined the growing list of Digital Architecture clients. The Fort Lewis evaluation team chose the acalog ACMS™ based on the system's capability of allowing faculty to make changes via the curriculum process, and the web catalog example was more user friendly than the current application being used. Fort Lewis also expects to be able to reduce the number of printed catalogs that they produce each year due to the introduction of the e-catalog. The school also plans to produce a CD-ROM version of the e-catalog.
The Digital Architecture Team is back from SACRAO 2009, which was held February 7-11 in New Orleans. The event was lively and informative. Everyone seemed to have a great time at the conference, as well as enjoying New Orleans hospitality. We look forward to seeing you all in Chattanooga next year!
“After reviewing several products, the University of Alabama in Huntsville adopted acalog for a variety of reasons. Foremost, is its seamless integration into the university’s website, and not far behind is its ease of use. The combination makes it a marvelous tool for the whole university community, and a splendid recruitment resource. Prospective students can find out more about our academic programs through acalog than they can through the website. Acalog is an elegant solution to the problems of going paperless.” — Dr. John Severn, Associate Provost

The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology has selected the acalog ACMSTM to provide the enhanced capabilities necessary for its academic catalog management specifications. Digital Architecture consultants will collaborate with the institution to provide the best structure for their catalog and content, and ensure a high-quality e-catalog experience for their students, staff and faculty. Digital Architecture was selected because it offered a way to repurpose content, as well as the system's unique ability to create custom export "maps" for print purposes. The versatile export mapping feature will allow ITP to easily create variable-purpose documents such as ‘mini’ catalogs for internal or external distribution.
Digital Architecture is pleased to add Western Washington University to the list of institutions that will be showcasing their academic e-catalog produced utilizing the acalog ACMS™ software. The socially and environmentally conscious institution will benefit from adoption of acalog™ both from an economic and environmental standpoint by reducing the school's reliance on printed catalogs, increasing efficiency in the curriculum change process, and increasing value and services for students and the entire campus community.
